GATE 2026 to be held in February: Detailed paper-wise exam pattern and syllabus explained

IIT Guwahati has released the detailed exam pattern and syllabus for GATE 2026, scheduled on February 7, 8, 14 and 15. The exam will be held across 30 papers with a 3-hour CBT format, featuring MCQs, MSQs and NAT questions. A new Energy Science section has been added, while GA remains compulsory for all candidates.
