Fake IT raid ruse: Broker, aide held for Rs 90 lakh fraud in city
A 58-year-old broker allegedly duped a man of Rs 90 lakh by orchestrating a fake income tax raid and convincing the victim to hide the cash in a vacant house. The money was subsequently stolen from the location. Police have arrested the broker and his accomplice, recovering a significant portion of the stolen amount.
