DRDO is developing key composite materials for Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft: DRDO chief
Samir Kamat, DRDO Chairman, announced the development of Radiation Absorbent Materials (RAM) for the 5th generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA). Kamat highlighted the use of composites in enhancing the sturdiness of the Tejas aircraft and improving missile ranges. DRDO is also exploring new composite materials for advanced applications in missile and aero engine programs.
