Chennai: 4th track approved between Tambaram-Chengalpattu line; eases delays & boosts connectivity
Commuting from Chengalpattu to Chennai will soon be hassle-free. The railway ministry has approved a much-needed fourth railway track between Tambaram and Chengalpattu. This 30.02 km project will cost Rs 757.18 crore and is expected to be completed in three years. The new track will allow for more express trains to southern destinations and improve suburban train services.
