CBSE mobilises schools for nationwide foundational learning audit as PARAKH rolls out digital Grade 3 assessment in March 2026
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed affiliated schools to cooperate in the Foundational Learning Study (FLS) 2026, a nationwide assessment of Grade 3 students’ literacy and numeracy skills. Conducted by PARAKH under National Council of Educational Research and Training, the March study will use tablets instead of OMR sheets and cover over 10,000 schools and 1 lakh students nationwide.
