BMC clears 200 tonnes of waste from Durga Puja pandals
Bhubaneswar's BMC cleared over 200 tonnes of waste from Durga Puja pandals on Saturday, in addition to its daily collection. Implementing a "zero waste policy," the civic body deployed additional staff and 15 extra vehicles to ensure all waste was collected from bins and transported for processing, preventing littering and plastic pile-up.
