Bihar polls: Election Commission may deploy 1,200 CAPF companies for security

Over 1,200 Central Armed Police Force companies are set to be deployed for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Nearly 500 units have already arrived in the state. The Election Commission and Ministry of Home Affairs will give final approval for the remaining companies. These forces will bolster security alongside Bihar Police for the two-phased polls on November 6 and 11.
