A Bengaluru businessman was allegedly abused and assaulted by a cab driver for objecting to a detour to avoid a road toll. The driver was arrested by Chikkajala police after the passenger filed a complaint. The driver reportedly slapped and assaulted the passenger when confronted about the route change.
