Ajit Pawar's wife Sunetra appointed NCP's National President
Sunetra Pawar has been elected the new National President of the Nationalist Congress Party. The decision was made at the party's national executive meeting. Praful Patel proposed her name, and Sunil Tatkare seconded it. Sunetra Pawar takes over from her late husband, Ajit Pawar, who tragically passed away. She also recently became Deputy Chief Minister.
