Six-time BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht elected deputy speaker of Delhi Assembly
Mohan Singh Bisht, a six-time BJP MLA, has been elected as the deputy speaker of the Delhi Assembly. Bisht, who won the Mustafabad seat in the recent elections, was proposed by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and seconded by Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa. The BJP secured 48 of 70 seats, ending an over-decade-long AAP rule.
